About Me

Whoa!! Who is that?! Oh... That's Me, My name is Paul and I am a Paramedic in a busy center in a large city in Canada. Many of you know me, but I'm hoping that this will expand to people that don't know me. So a little about me. I've been working in emergency services for 17 years now. I started my career as a volunteer fire fighter first responder in a small village, and served in a rural setting as an EMT and Paramedic for several years before winding up in the city. Why do I write this blog? In the world of emergency services we see a lot of things, and sometimes it's necessary to find things to do to keep those demons at bay. I like to write, and I happen to be a paramedic, so I thought writing about a topic that I know about might be a good thing. You be the judge, and feel free to share your opinions, your thoughts, your stories and your critiques with me. Overall my goal with this blog is to give people that don't do what we do insight in to who we are, and what we do. I want to share stories, (with minimal detail of course), and opinions about our industry as a whole, and provide readers with information about what we can do and what we will do when we come to see you in your home, or office, or intersection in your time of need. I hope you will enjoy the read, and I also hope you will share it with your family and friends.
